Dr. Anastasia Haupt, Oral Surgeon
Dr. Haupt is an Idaho native and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Idaho State University. She was accepted into the highly competitive
Idaho Dental Education Program and received her Doctorate of Dental Surgery from Creighton University School of Dentistry in Omaha, Nebraska. While at Creighton, she received the Creighton University Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Achievement Award and graduated Magna Cum Laude.
Dr. Haupt was accepted into the University of Illinois at Chicago Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery program where she trained under leading academic surgeons. She received extensive training in outpatient sedation and anesthesia as well as benign and malignant pathology while seeing patients at various hospitals and medical clinics including the University of Illinois Chicago, Northwestern Memorial Hospital, and Jesse Brown VA Medical Center. During this time she honed her surgical skills completing complex cases in orthognathic, dentoalveolar and implant surgery. She served as chief resident in her final year of training.
Over the years, Dr. Haupt has gained extensive implant experience while working at ClearChoice Dental Implant Centers, completing over 1000 “all-on-four” procedures and placing thousands of implants. In addition to implants, Dr. Haupt has developed a passion for sinus grafting and third molar removal. Combined with her passion for oral surgery, Dr. Haupt’s compassion for every patient’s unique story makes her a perfect fit on the Willow Creek Way team. Dr. Haupt is a Board Certified Oral Maxillofacial Surgeon.
In her free time Dr. Haupt loves to read, travel, run, and explore delicious restaurants with her husband and son.
Dr. Janie Boyesen, Periodontist
We consider ourselves and our patients very lucky to have Dr. Boyesen on our specialist team. Dr. Boyesen grew up in Queens, New York and attended college at the University of Pennsylvania. She then graduated from Columbia University School of Dental and Oral Surgery in 2003 with a DDS degree. She completed her Periodontology Certificate and Doctor of Medical Sciences (DMSc) degree at Harvard School of Dental Medicine in 2007. Along with clinical training in all aspects of Periodontology, Dr. Boyesen has conducted basic science research in Oral Immunology for her doctoral thesis. She was nominated as one of the four basic science finalists in the Balint Orban Memorial Competition at the 2007 annual American Academy of Periodontology meeting. She has published several peer-reviewed papers and abstracts on both basic science and clinical applications of periodontics. She is a diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and a fellow of the Pierre Fauchard Academy.
Dr. Boyesen is an active member of several regional and national professional organizations, including the Rocky Mountain Society of Periodontists, the American Academy of Periodontology and the Colorado Dental Association. Her volunteer efforts include the Colorado Mission of Mercy (COMOM) and the Rocky Mountain Dental Convention (RMDC). She is a past President of the Rocky Mountain Society of Periodontists, and currently the Treasurer of the Metro Denver Dental Society.

Dr. Vanderstelt, Orthodontist
As an orthodontic specialist, Dr. Shaffner-Vanderstelt considers herself an architect of smiles. Dr. Shaffner-Vanderstelt believes quality orthodontic care should be accessible and manageable for every individual young or old no matter how minor or how complex their bite problems may be. Dr. Blakeley, DDS
Dr. Blakeley is a graduate of the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry and also has advanced training in dental implantology, neuromuscular dentistry, sleep apnea treatment and TMJ disorder therapy. She is a fellow with the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and is also a Premier Provider for Invisalign® clear aligner therapy. Dr. Blakeley is a member of the ICOI, American Dental Association, Colorado Dental Association and Metro Denver Dental Society.
A steadfast believer in using advanced dental techniques, Dr. Blakeley has invested in the latest technology for her patients. From digital x-rays, laser therapy and impression-free scanning to same-day crowns and 3D imaging, she believes that dentistry constantly evolves. Dr. Blakeley enjoys providing her patients with a full range of services, from general restorative dentistry to full-mouth reconstruction, and works with a team of doctors so all services can be done in the comfort of our office.
Personally, Dr. Blakeley grew up on a ranch in Pine Bluffs, Wyoming and it was there that she became interested in dentistry when she worked for the local dentist as a teenager. She attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney as a scholar-athlete, studying Biology and playing on the collegiate volleyball team. She was then accepted into the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry in 1993. After completing her DDS degree in 1997, she moved to Denver and worked as an Associate Dentist for one year before starting Willow Creek Dental in 1998. Outside of work, Dr. Blakeley is dedicated to her family. She and her husband stay busy keeping up with their 6 children and attending their many sporting events. She also tries to find time to coach and play volleyball whenever possible.
